Now in its third year, Philippine Blog Awards would be bigger, better and grander. Bringing the tag line One Blogging Nation this year, the whole Philippines, Luzon, Visayas & Mindanao will take part in this huge blogging event.
So what is Philippine Blog Awards? Is it just an award-giving body? Or is there something more to it?
The Philippine Blog Awards is a yearly event that aims to give recognition to outstanding blogs in but not limited to the Filipino Blogging Community. The Philippine Blog Awards is organized by the Philippine Blogger Awards Inc. a non-stock and non-profit corporation.

Due to this virtual network of among Filipinos – To be specific among Filipino Bloggers relationships develop and communities spring about. In recent years, the numbers of bloggers have increased and its not limited to one area alone. From Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao: Bloggers have increased in numbers. And its not only in our local shores. Filipino Bloggers can be found almost everywhere.

- October 9, 2009 - Luzon
- October 17, 2009 - Cebu, Visayas
- October 24, 2009 - CDO, Mindanao
We at the Cebu Bloggers Society are organizing the Philippine Blog Awards - Visayas. We are still in the planning stage since most of us are busy with our own careers but we would assure that the first regional Philippine Blog Awards would be something worth remembering.
