It has been a while since I wrote a new post. I have been so busy with my studies that I can only manage to update my other two blogs. Fortunately, this blog is still alive. I'll be keeping it alive as long as I can.
In this post, I'd go back to a basic yet essential topic. I will be listing 5 simple tips for beginning bloggers. I remembered how confusing it is to start blogging. There will be a lot of terms and skills to learn. Sometimes, a lucky one will have a mentor. But oftentimes, beginners tend to stand up for just themselves. Some successful bloggers started that way though, so no worries.

So here are 5 blogging tips that are proven to be useful over time. I know old bloggers already know (and maybe mastered) these tips already but it won't hurt for some reminding.Regularly update your blog
This is probably one of the most stressed out pointers. If you write posts regularly, people would always come and drop by your blog to check. Not all people subscribe to your blog and some of them just wait for a new post to come out. You can post at the minimum of once a week. The maximum is highly debatable. But the point is that a regularly-updated blog gets good feedback from its readers.Be an authority
If you stand by to cling to a specific niche all throughout and you are consistent in your posts or ideas, then in the long run, you would possibly become an authority in your field. Becoming an authority figure online can do a very good thing to your blog in terms of traffic and popularity. Just make sure to be consistent and honest.Catch your readers
This is one of the problems bloggers (including me) are facing. Readers would be more than delighted to read a post on your blog which cannot be found elsewhere. Writing ultra-unique articles can boost your reader base especially when you concoct very interesting ones. Try to stay away from a topic that thousands of bloggers are already writing about. I'm not saying don't do that. I'm saying that once in a while, whip up something new to this world.

Very true. Involve yourself in a number of good social networks and get interactive and one day people will start going in your blog. The purpose is connection and exposure. No man is an island. No blog is an island too. Getting yourself connected to many bloggers is one key to a healthy and successful blog.Do SEO and design improvements
There are a lot of SEO tips out there and some are from great bloggers themselves. Don't feed yourself with too much SEO. Learn it one step at a time, basics first, and then one day you'll wake up finding SEO as a natural thing. Optimizing your blog is primarily for organic traffic and search engine rankings. There are hundreds of SEO tips, it is up to you to implement them. And about design, keep a clean and reader-friendly site. It is simple as that. Make it appealing but don't try too hard. It all depends on your target audience.
Now after that, take note that everything that happens with your blog is your responsibility. You have to know first why you are actually blogging then the rest will follow. If you have a clear goal or mindset, blogging won't be much of a problem. More specially if it is your passion.
